COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE
EXPLORE COMPUTER BUILDING (Hardware & Software): Students will tear down and build up a computer system from beginning to end, learning all necessary component names. Students will also build software programs. Tasks include: Format (erase) a disk, load an Operating System, Configure system with programs and get it Internet ready, download Microsoft Updates, Set Home Page, Configure Email. An in-depth look at all components of a computer system and a great opportunity for students to experience taking apart a computer system and then putting it back to together along with all software components.

Instructor Bio
Steve Hardin-
Steve is certified to the highest level for personal computer certification for computer technology. He currently owns a small computer company called A+ Computer Repair where he travels to client’s homes or small business' to fix anything to do with their computers or small networks. He was trained and taught at the “National Institute of Technology” in San Jose. He has experience teaching different age groups.
